The RHS owns four gardens across the UK: RHS Gardens Wisley in Surrey, Harlow Carr in North Yorkshire, Hyde Hall in Essex and Rosemoor in Devon. The gardens welcome more than 1.2 million visitors each year. They work in partnership with more than 200 Partner Gardens. This giving members free access at various times of the year.

Through their exquisite gardens, gardeners across the UK and overseas are helped by providing access to diverse plant collections. Examples of innovative and attractive planting design and good horticultural practices are available in abundance. There are regular talks, demonstrations and walks.

RHS Wisley is really well organised in ensuring that coach groups get the very best service. From the drop-off by the entrance to the service provided by their excellent guides and gardeners.

The RHS aims to share practical knowledge so they inspire people of all ages and abilities. They wish to inspire an interest in plants and gardening. RHS offer a range of qualifications from the Level 1 Certificate through to the prestigious Master of Horticulture. And for gardeners of the future, the Campaign for School Gardening encourages as many children as possible to get growing. There are more than 34,000 schools involved with the campaign.
